West Las Vegas Schools 2022 Feasibility Study

SD+A generated a 505 page Comprehensive Feasibility study for all 9 schools in the West Las Vegas District. The study was put together from data collected during in depth condition assessments completed by engineers and architects on the Suina Design + Architecture team. Sites were documented visually through drone photography and photos during site visits. Reports were compiled from our Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, MEP Engineer, and Architect. Projected enrollment data for a 5 year period was calculated for each school and included in the assessment. This data in conjunction with current utilization rates was used to make recommendations to the district about possible reorganization and renovations. The district accepted our submission of the feasibility study and also stated that it was thorough enough (due to our team’s suggested approach to include detailed descriptions of needed improvements) that the New Mexico Public Schools Facilities Authority concluded that the Assessment met all the requirements for a 5 year Master Plan document as well.
