Project Architect Garrett Smith, with RPD Assoc., designed and coordinated the exterior restoration and interior rehabilitation of this five-story historic building located in the heart of Berkeley’s commercial district. Listed on the state register of historic places, the building and a three-story warehouse annex were rehabilitated to house the new 53,000 sf facility for the Continuing Education programs of the State Bar Association. The cost of the project was $2.6 million.
